Whoops! No Emmys, Viola Davis hasn't won an Oscar

Let us all bask in the fact that Viola Davis has just won an Emmy for How to Get Away With Murder and forget about the fact that she hasn't won that Oscar. Yet.

But the Emmy Awards seemed to think that Davis had already won that Oscar (though who wouldn't, tbh) because they made this embarrassing mistake earlier in the night.

Well, whatever the case, we all know she should have an Oscar in hand already, so this Buzzfeed writer fixed their mistake.

For the record, it seems like Viola is OK with this gaffe. In a historical Emmy win, Davis became the first African-American woman to win an Emmy and made an empowering (and tearjerking) speech about diversity in television.
