The working title of Lifetime's biopic of Britney Spears is 'Britney.'

This is a story about a girl named Britney.

Lifetime has green-lit a 2-hour biopic of Britney Spears for early 2017. The working title? Britney.

That means we will likely see reenactments of Britney growing up in Louisiana, Britney joining the Mickey Mouse Club, Britney falling in love with JT, Britney breaking up with JT, Britney getting married to and divorced from K-Fed, Britney shaving her head, Britney losing custody of her kids, Britney coming back and Britney being the iconic entertainer that she is today at age 34.

Yep, sounds like the perfect plot for a Lifetime movie, which might end triumphantly with Miss Spears’ VMAs performance this Sunday.

No cast has been announced, though could anyone do a better job than Spears’ own family? Younger sister Jamie Lynn, 25, and niece Maddie, 8, look just like Brit.

Production is set to begin this September in Vancouver. However, it will do so without her blessing or participation, according to Spears' rep Jeff Raymond, who says the singer "will not be contributing in any way, shape or form."
