It will air on ABC at 8 p.m.
For red carpet-watchers, ABC's broadcast begins at 7 p.m ET, live from from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Want to start earlier? E!'s pre-show begins at 4:30 p.m. with red carpet coverage starting at 6 p.m. hosted by Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy.

Want to watch the Emmys online? The ceremony will stream live online via ABC's site, accessible to viewers with a TV provider login. ABC Go will also stream the red carpet in addition to the show.
Jimmy Kimmel is the host
With the awards returning to ABC in 2016, Kimmel joins the Emmys for his second stint as host, following fellow comedians Andy Samberg (who hosted on Fox in 2015), Seth Meyers (on NBC in 2014) and Neil Patrick Harris (for CBS in 2013).

Tom Hiddleston will present the night's final award
Hiddleston will bring the evening to a close, taking the stage to announce the best drama series. The night's star-studded list of presenters include Kyle Chandler, Bryan Cranston, Claire Danes, Michelle Dockery, Minnie Driver, Tony Goldwyn, Terrence Howard, Allison Janney, Rami Malek, Abigail Spencer, Kiefer Sutherland, Hank Azaria, Margo Martindale, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Peter Scolari.

The In Memoriam will pay tribute to Garry Marshall
Henry Winkler will introduce the In Memoriam segment with a remembrance of the famous director, and singer Tori Kelly will perform. Among the many other celebrity names included in the Emmys In Memoriam database that viewers can watch for: David Bowie, Prince, Gene Wilder, Garry Shandling, Muhammad Ali, George Martin and more.
Facebook will broadcast Emmys highlights via 360-degree video and Facebook Live
VR has a front-row seat at the Emmys this year. Facebook is producing 360-degree videos of Jimmy Kimmel's opening monologue, the red carpet and the backstage action, to be posted on the Kimmel, ABC and Emmys pages.
Facebook's popular live-streaming function Facebook Live will also bring viewers a "thank-you cam” for some of the night's winners and a live feed of backstage moments.
