We're ready to follow where you lead.

It's exactly one month until Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life drops to return us all to a world of mile-a-minute pop culture references, coffee IVs and Friday night dinners. And we couldn't be more excited, even if, as the new full-length trailer suggests, it will emotionally devastate us. The official trailer for the revival arrived Tuesday, and unless you're as stoic as Luke, it's bound to make you tear up a little. Watch Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel), Emily (Kelly Bishop), Luke (Scott Patterson), Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) and more above.

There is a lot (a LOT) in the trailer for the Gilmore fan to dissect. Here are the five most important takeaways.

1. Rory and Lorelai's relationship is as strong as ever

They're still consuming mountains of take-out over terrible movies and TV, driving Emily up the wall at Friday night dinners and loving every little quirk of their beautiful little town (A+ Batfleck reference, Rory). No matter what else the revival throws at us, we'll feel at home once these two Girls get in a room together and talk and talk and talk.

2. Luke and Lorelai's relationship may be in trouble

From this trailer it appears the theme of the revival is feeling unsettled and directionless, and for  Lorelai that's manifesting as doubts about her relationship with the proprietor of Luke's Diner. The middle-generation Gilmore is wondering if settling down is what she's always wanted, at which point you can almost hear thousands of Luke and Lorelai shippers screaming "yes it is!"

3. Rory coulda been a contender

Lorelai is at a loss with her romantic life, and Rory is at a loss with her professional life. The woman who once wanted to be a foreign correspondent is traveling the globe, sure, but she has no job and apparently, no credit or much in the way of plans. But she's getting drinks with Jess, and he has been known to snap her back to reality.

4. Emily is finding the life-changing magic of tidying up

The real world comes into play in Emily's story -- Actor Edward Herrmann, who played Richard Gilmore, died in January of 2015. Now a widow, Emily is trying to decide what her life will look like on her own, and she's taking cues from Marie Kondo and decluttering her life. But she's not getting rid of that floor-to-ceiling portrait of Richard, mind you.

5. Your faves are back

Who would make the cast list for the four-part series has been well-documented, but just to alleviate your fears, we get flashes of Sookie (Melissa McCarthy), Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), Logan (Matt Czuchry), Kirk (Sean Gunn), Taylor (Michael Winters), Lane (Keiko Agena) and a whole lot of other colorful faces from Stars Hollow. Now someone explain to us why Kirk is at Friday night dinner.
