Um, say what? Did that just happen? If you were watching the Oscars during the epic fail that was the announcement of the WRONG best picture winner, you're probably still shaking your head at the cringe-inducing  botch. And so are celebs everywhere, who, like us, cannot believe what just transcribed.

"I would not wish that situation on my worst enemy," David Oyelowo told us at the post-Oscars Governor's Ball. "That was a tough way to find that you lost and a tough way to find out that you won. No one could really celebrate as fully as they would like but I'm elated for the Moonlight cast and I feel badly for the La La Land folks."

An empathetic reaction, indeed. Many felt the same way, but the snafu was also a prime opportunity to make some jokes. One organization that has some experience with this kind of thing was quick to react:

Of course, the infamous 2015 incident which the Miss Universe organization is referring to is when host Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia as the winner, when in actuality it was Miss Philippines. Harvey took to Twitter Monday morning to get a little redemption for the relentless roast that followed his mistake.

Though Faye Dunaway actually announcedLa La Land as the best picture winner, because she and co-presenter Warren Beatty had the wrong envelope, Harvey offered to Olivia Pope the situation for Dick Tracy.

Here's how the worst flub in Oscar history went down

Other celebs tweeted their surprise and elation that Moonlight actually took the category.
