Burglary

A resident of the 4000 block of East Van Norman Avenue reported Nov. 5 that $1,550 worth of tools had been taken from his unlocked garage.


Theft

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft Nov. 7 for taking an envelope with cash from Southside Auto Mart, 5090 S. Pennsylvania Ave. According to police reports the man took an envelope containing $1,100 cash while making a delivery at 12:02 p.m. Oct. 10. He returned $600 on Oct. 12, but made no further contact with the victim or police.


Two Milwaukee women, ages 23 and 21, face charges of misdemeanor retail theft after allegedly taking $1,183 worth of clothing from Kmart, 6077 S. Packard Ave., at 1:31 p.m. Nov. 10.


About $250 damage was done in the 3900 block of East Edgerton Avenue at 6:24 p.m. Nov. 14 when three unidentified men tried unsuccessfully to steal a car.


Vandalism


Two unidentified men vandalized a Donald Trump sign in the 4800 block of South Kirkwood Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 4.


Other


A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for obstructing police, driving after suspension and speeding after she gave police a false name when stopped in the 5500 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at 2:45 a.m. Nov. 7.


ST. FRANCIS

Burglary

A 50-year-old Cudahy man faces burglary charges after more than $4,000 worth of jewelry was taken from a home in the 3400 block of East Denton Avenue between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2.


Theft


A television set valued at $330 was reported taken Nov. 7 from a common room at Thompson Meadows Apartments, 3120 E. Norwich Ave.


A Greendale man's car was stolen from the 3000 block of East Norwich Avenue between 3 and 4:45 p.m. Nov. 13.


SOUTH MILWAUKEE


Theft


A $200 semi-automatic rifle was taken from an unlocked car in the 1400 block of Menomonee Avenue between midnight and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 12.


A South Milwaukee woman reported her purse, containing a driver's license, debit card and various makeup items, was taken from her car in the 3300 block of South Chicago Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16.


Assault


A 20-year-old South Milwaukee woman faces a charge of disorderly conduct, domestic violence related after allegedly throwing a shot glass and hitting her 29-year-old boyfriend in the 2800 block of South Chicago Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Nov. 12.


Vandalism


A South Milwaukee man reported a rock was thrown at his car in the 2900 block of South Chicago Avenue between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 5, causing $200 damage to a window.


Other


A female freshman at South Milwaukee High School, 801 15th Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct after propping open a door at 10 a.m. Nov. 7, in order to skip a class and return later.


A 21-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 7:55 a.m. Nov. 14 after loudly cursing an officer who had responded to a domestic disturbance call.


Police responded to four domestic violence incidents between Nov. 11 and 17.
