CUDAHY

Theft

A 28-year-old Cudahy man was cited for retail theft after he took a $42.99 bottle of whiskey from Pick ’n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 10.

An unidentified person took $4,005 from an unlocked safe at Mr. Car Wash, 5506 S. Packard Ave., overnight Feb. 12-13.

Two unidentified persons took $351.45 worth of merchandise from Walgreens, 3201 E. Layton Ave., just after 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

An unidentified male took three curling irons with combined value of $103.97 from Walgreens, 3201 E. Layton Ave., at about 2 p.m. Feb. 23.

Drug possession

A 19-year-old Cudahy man was cited for marijuana possession and driving after suspension after a traffic stop in the 3000 block of East Vogel Avenue at 9:57 p.m. Feb. 20.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving after suspension in the 5500 block of South Illinois Avenue at 7:59 p.m. Feb. 25.

A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of crack cocaine in the 6200 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at 1:25 a.m. Feb. 27.

A 16-year-old Cudahy female was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license in the 2700 block of East Edgerton Avenue at 10:24 p.m. Feb. 27.

OWI

A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated on the wrong side of a divided highway at 2:19 a.m. March 1 at the intersection of South Whitnall and East Layton avenues. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.18. She has one previous OWI conviction.

Vandalism

Two windows were broken on a car in the 3700 block of East Pulaski Avenue between 1 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. March 1. Damage was estimated at $500.

Other

Three persons were cited for disorderly conduct at 9:39 p.m. Feb. 23 after a road-rage incident in the 2900 block of East Edgerton Avenue. According to police reports a 22-year-old Cudahy woman was involved in a confrontation with a 24-year-old Milwaukee man when a 22-year-old Cudahy man became involved and was allegedly maced by the woman.

ST. FRANCIS

Theft

A 48-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for retail theft Feb. 12 for taking six bottles of liquor with combined value of $190.44 from Pick ’n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave.

Police are investigating the disappearance of a $1,500 trailer parked at Orchard Street Press, 4188 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., between Feb. 10 and 14.

A resident of the 1200 block of East Norwich Avenue reported Feb. 26 that his pellet gun, valued at $100, was stolen from an unlocked storage area.

Vandalism

A 17-year-old male student at St. Francis High School reported a passenger side mirror on his pickup truck was vandalized in the 3900 block of East Lunham Avenue while he attended classes between 7:40 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. Feb. 14.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

Theft

A South Milwaukee woman reported her $250 purse, containing $80 cash, was taken from a cart outside Walmart, 222 N. Chicago Ave., at about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

An unidentified male took two television sets valued at $133 apiece from Walmart, 222 N. Chicago Ave., at 5:41 a.m. Feb. 22.

About 40 pills were taken from a car in the 1600 block of Menomonee Avenue overnight Feb. 27-28.

A 33-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for theft after he admitted taking $700 worth of flooring from a home in the 100 block of Brookdale Drive at about 7:30 a.m. Feb. 28.

A 23-year-old Waukesha man faces retail theft charges after he took two computers from Walmart, 222 N. Chicago Ave., at 5:22 p.m. Feb. 28. He was captured nearby about an hour later.

Assault

A 25-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for battery after allegedly punching a 21-year-old Franklin man in the 1300 block of Manitoba Avenue at 7:17 p.m. Feb. 21.

A 28-year-old South Milwaukee man was charged with disorderly conduct/domestic violence-related after he threw items at his estranged wife in the 3700 block of South Chicago Avenue at about 3 a.m. March 2.

Vandalism

A rock was thrown at a home in the 2500 block of Ninth Avenue overnight Feb. 24-25, causing $2,000 damage to a picture window.

Other

A 49-year-old Oak Creek man was given four citations for unlawful use of telephone after he made four calls Feb. 25 and 26 to Walgreens, 2985 S. Chicago Ave., allegedly threatening and cursing employees.

A 57-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct at 1:39 p.m. Feb. 27 after he allegedly threatened and cursed a bartender at American Legion Post 27, 920 Monroe Ave.

Two counterfeit $100 bills were found outside Napa, 1223 College Ave., at 2:18 p.m. Feb. 28.

Police responded to five domestic violence incidents between Feb. 25 and March 3.
