CUDAHY

Theft

·A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for motor vehicle theft and was taken to the Juvenille Detention Facility after she took her stepfather's car and crashed it in the 4700 block of South Kirkwood Avenue at 6:19 p.m. May 1. Damage was estimated at $3,500.

Drug possession

·A 52-year-old St. Francis man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 3600 block of East Mallory Avenue at 2:55 a.m. April 30.

·An 18-year-old Cudahy man was cited for drug paraphernalia possession in the 5900 block of South Barland Avenue at 3:21 a.m. April 30.

Other

·Seven persons were cited for underage alcohol consumption when police broke up a party in the 3700 block of East Pulaski Avenue at 1:01 a.m. May 1. Citations were issued to 19- and 17-year-old males and 18- and 16-year-old females, all from Cudahy; 18- and 17-year-old South Milwaukee females; and an 18-year-old Milwaukee female.

·A 24-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct after he created a disturbance in the 3700 block of East Morris Avenue at 2:52 a.m. May 1. He was taken to the Criminal Justice Facility.

ST. FRANCIS

Theft

·An unidentified male took $18.59 worth of food items from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., at 5:51 p.m. April 22.

Drug possession

·A 19-year-old St. Francis man was cited for marijuana possession in Greene Park, 3356 E. Lunham Ave., at 2:26 p.m. May 6.

OWI

·A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for operating while intoxicated in the 3800 block of South Packard Avenue at 1:42 a.m. April 24. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.12. Police were also seeking charges for possession of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. During the traffic stop the arresting officer was notified by Cudahy police that occupants of the vehicle 'were part of a group of about six patrons that bar staff suspected of dealing drugs' in a Cudahy tavern.

·A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for operating while intoxicated and failure to yield after he was involved in a collision at the intersection of South Kinnickinnic and East Howard avenues at 1:16 a.m. April 30. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.16.

Vandalism

·Damage was estimated at $1,000 after graffiti was spray painted on trash bins and a semi trailer outside Complete Recycling Services, 2529 E. Norwich Ave., overnight April 26-27.

·Graffiti was spray painted on a wall at DF Corp., 2517 E. Norwich Ave., and a nearby railroad crossing control box overnight April 26-27.

Other

·A 55-year-old St. Francis man was charged with arson after he allegedly attempted to set fire to his residence in the 2000 block of East St. Francis Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. April 18. Police had been called by the man's 53-year-old sister, after he allegedly punched her.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

Burglary

·About $6,000 worth of tools and sound equipment were taken from an unlocked garage in the 1300 block of Mackinac Avenue between April 29 and May 1.

Theft

·A 27-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for theft for taking a laundry cart from Kane Laundromat, 923 Monroe Ave., at 1:10 p.m. April 24.

·A tow sling valued at $400 was taken from a tow truck in the 1200 block of Monroe Avenue between April 30 and May 4.

·A $150 motorcycle tire, a $50 television set and about $150 worth of shoes were taken from a storage locker in an apartment building at 1832 Rawson Ave. prior to May 5.

Drug possession

·A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for marijuana possession and open consumption of intoxicants in the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue at 7:37 p.m. May 2.

OWI

·A 47-year-old Cudahy man was cited for operating while intoxicated at 2:09 a.m. May 1 in the 2200 block of 12th Avenue after his vehicle twice crossed the center line of the road. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.22. He has one previous OWI conviction.

Other

·Two students at South Milwaukee High School, 801 15th Ave., were cited for habitual truancy. A 15-year-old male was cited April 26, and a 14-year-old female was cited May 4.

·Police responded to nine domestic violence incidents between April 29 and May 5.
