Theft

·A bicycle valued at $100 was stolen from a yard in the 3400 block of East Plankinton Avenue between April 28 and May 4.

·A 32-year-old Cudahy man was charged with fraudulent use of a financial card after he was arrested on drug-related charges in Milwaukee on May 2. According to police reports, he stole the debit card information associated with his mother, a resident of the 3600 block of East Allerton Avenue, and transferred $10,726 from her bank account over a two-month period. The man told police he spent the money on heroin and cigarettes.

·Unlocked vehicles on adjacent blocks were entered early May 4. A $10 bill was taken in the 3600 block of East Iona Terrace and 25 cents was taken in the 5700 block of South Swift Avenue. Nothing was taken from three other vehicles.

Assault

·A temporary felony warrant for strangulation and suffocation was sought against a 31-year-old Cudahy man regarding an incident in the 4900 block of South Packard Avenue at 11:15 a.m. May 8. According to police reports, the man allegedly choked his 20-year-old girlfriend.

Drug possession

·A 20-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for marijuana possession and obstructing an officer in the 5500 block of South Indiana Avenue at about noon May 9 after he briefly fled a traffic stop. Police also seized $1,000 in counterfeit bills.

Vandalism

·A window was smashed on a Milwaukee man's car in the 6000 block of South Trinthammer Avenue between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. May 5. Damage was estimated at $200.

·A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was charged with criminal damage to property domestic violence-related for allegedly smashing two windows on his estranged wife's home in the 3700 block of East Lunham Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. May 11. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

ST. FRANCIS

OWI

·A 23-year-old Waukesha man was cited for operating while intoxicated after his vehicle struck a restraining wall in the 3800 block of South Lake Drive at 2:52 a.m. May 7. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.23.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

Theft

·A push mower valued at $50 was taken from the 1500 block of Rawson Avenue prior to 2 p.m. May 6.

·Two Chicago men reported being robbed of prescription pills and $280 cash during a May 10 party. According to police reports, the victims 'did not know exactly where the party was, but thought the party was somewhere on Madison Avenue.'

·A South Milwaukee woman's $300 purse was taken from her car at about 6:30 a.m. May 11 while she dropped off her child at Mary Linsmeier School, 2979 S. Chicago Ave.

Assault

·A 30-year-old Cudahy man and a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman were cited for battery at 2:34 p.m. April 30. The man allegedly punched a 34-year-old South Milwaukee man in the 1500 block of Lake Drive, and the woman allegedly punched a 29-year-old South Milwaukee woman.

OWI

·A 30-year-old South Milwaukee man may face state charges of operating while intoxicated tied to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of 10th and Milwaukee avenues at 1:48 p.m. May 9. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.28. He has two previous OWI convictions.

Vandalism

·Possible charges of criminal damage to property against a 42-year-old South Milwaukee man are pending after he allegedly ransacked his 38-year-old girlfriend's apartment in the 400 block of Bay Heights Road in the early morning of May 8. According to police reports, the woman had ordered the boyfriend to move out.

Other

·A 46-year-old woman was cited for littering after she allegedly tossed garbage from her apartment in the 1100 block of Marion Avenue at 7:09 p.m. May 10.

·A 19-year-old South Milwaukee woman and a 23-year-old South Milwaukee man were cited for disorderly conduct after incidents at about 9 p.m. May 11. According to police reports, the woman was loud, profane and belligerent with officers outside the police department, 2424 15th Ave. At some point during the confrontation, the man began yelling threats and racial comments at officers from across the street.

·Police responded to four domestic violence incidents between May 6 and 12.
