Theft

·A 32-year-old Cudahy woman was cited for retail theft for allegedly taking $20 worth of merchandise from Family Dollar, 5656 S. Packard Ave., at 3:28 p.m. June 24.

Assault

·A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct (domestic violence) after she allegedly slapped her 26-year-old ex-boyfriend in the 5100 block of South Kirkwood Avenue at 5:57 p.m. June 27. She was also arrested for obstructing an officer for a false claim that the ex-boyfriend had a gun.

Drug possession

·A 22-year-old Muskego man was cited for drug paraphernalia possession and violating park curfew in Sheridan Park, 4800 S. Lake Drive, at 3 a.m. June 25.

Vandalism

·A car was scratched in the 5000 block of South Kirkwood Avenue overnight June 23-24. Damage was estimated at $500.

·A misdemeanor warrant for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct was entered against a 32-year-old Milwaukee man who drove his vehicle onto his ex-girlfriend's lawn in the 5400 block of South Buckhorn Avenue at 12:38 a.m. June 30.

Other

·A 23-year-old St. Francis man was cited for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after he created a disturbance at the Salty Dog tavern, 3479 E. Plankinton Ave., at 1:16 a.m. June 28. The man allegedly punched a wall after being told to leave.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

Burglary

·Nearly $4,000 worth of painting equipment, tools and miscellaneous items were taken from a garage in the 1600 block of Menomonee Avenue between June 22 and 24.

Theft

·A dirt bike valued at $250 was taken from a garage in the 800 block of Williams Avenue overnight June 20-21.

·A window air conditioner and game systems were taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Carrington Avenue between June 21 and 28.

·A voltmeter valued at $200 and about $200 worth of tools were taken from two pickup trucks in the 1000 block of Elm Avenue overnight June 27-28.

Assault

·A 34-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for battery at 7:43 p.m. June 27 after he allegedly shoved a 50-year-old homeless woman in the 2300 block of 12th Avenue.

Drug possession

·A 60-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drug paraphernalia possession at 7:03 a.m. June 22 after he was seen entering vehicles outside McDonald's, 2715 S. Chicago Ave.

·A 20-year-old Mount Pleasant man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 2300 block of 16th Avenue at 12:24 a.m. June 29.

OWI

·A 44-year-old South Milwaukee woman could face state charges for operating while intoxicated, pending results of blood tests, after she struck a pole at the intersection of Oak Creek Parkway and Mill Road at 12:22 a.m. June 25. She has one previous OWI conviction.

Vandalism

·A video screen in the play area at McDonald's, 2715 S. Chicago Ave., was smashed by three unidentified boys at about 2:30 p.m. June 18. Damage was estimated at $300.

·A toilet in a restroom at the beach at Grant Park, 100 Hawthorne Ave., was smashed by a rock June 24 or earlir. Replacement cost was estimated at $1,000.

·A minivan was spray painted in the 1300 block of Marquette Avenue overnight June 27-28. Damage was estimated at $200.

·A window was smashed on a truck belonging to Anderson Landscape and Maintenance, 1121 Carrington Ave., overnight June 28-29. Damage was estimated at $200.

·Police responded to seven domestic violence incidents between June 24 and 29.
