Cudahy — The Cudahy Post Office has listed special hours for Christmas Eve as part of the its holiday schedule between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Retail hours at the post office will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 24. Regular mail delivery will remain the same on that day.
In observance of the holidays, the Cudahy Post Office will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Because Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Sunday this year, the Cudahy Post Office will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, the observed federal holidays. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered on the actual holidays as well as the observed holidays.
The Cudahy Post Office will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. Additional U.S. Postal Service holiday information can be found at usps.com/holidaynews.
Retail hours will be posted at the Cudahy Post Office, and commercial customers are asked to check with the business mail entry unit for specific information regarding holiday hours of operation.
Mail in postal blue collection boxes located at the Cudahy Post Office will be picked up for the final time on Christmas Eve at noon. All other collection boxes will be picked up for the final time as listed.
The Cudahy Post Office will be open and observe regular business hours of operation on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31. Regular collection box times will be observed. Additionally, regular mail delivery will be conducted.
