John Glenn, who died Thursday at the age of 95, had some memorable quotes throughout his legendary career as a pilot, astronaut and senator. Here are a few:

Astronaut and senator John Glenn gives a thumbs up sign after arriving October 26 at the Kennedy Space Center for his October 29 scheduled launch aboard the US Space Shuttle Discovery for a nine-day mission.  Glenn, who was the first American to orbit the earth in 1962, at age 77 will the oldest man to fly in space.

"Zero G and I feel fine." — During the first orbit by an American in 1962.

"I don't know what you can say about a day when you see four beautiful sunsets…. This is a little unusual, I think." — Also during that first orbit.
