As expected, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race has been postponed because of heavy rains in eastern Tennessee.

Rain fell Saturday night and was expected to continue all day Sunday and Sunday night.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning through 3:15 p.m. ET and rain continued to fall through the early afternoon.
