Bears QB Jay Cutler didn't finish Monday night's game.

CHICAGO — Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler left Monday night's game with an injured right thumb, minutes after throwing an interception that led to a Philadelphia Eagles touchdown.

He was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

"I'm concerned. As a quarterback, you kind of need your right thumb," said Cutler after the game.

He will undergo further tests Tuesday.

Cutler was hurt on a strip sack during the Bears’ first possession of the third quarter. He stayed in the game after doctors examined him on the sidelines, but he appeared to be having trouble with his grip the next time he threw, putting the ball in the dirt on third down.

Carson Wentz looks like real deal again as Eagles beat Bears

On the first play of the next possession, at the end of the third quarter, Cutler was looking for Alshon Jeffery as he threw off his back foot. He never saw Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham, who read the pass perfectly and junped in front of Jeffery to snag the ball at the Bears own 30. He returned the ball 28 yards and, a play later, Carson Wentz found Trey Burton for the score to put Philadelphia up 22-7.

Cutler headed to the locker room and was replaced by Brian Hoyer.
