Center, Indianapolis Colts inside linebacker Anthony Walker (50) during the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, Indianapolis, Saturday, May 13, 2017.

He's a rookie linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts who quickly made an impression in camp this offseason. Anthony Walker Jr. could win a starting position in the middle of the defense.

He's already winning off the field, too. Walker, a Northwestern grad, bought his dad — Anthony Walker Sr. — a new car. He followed through Wednesday on a promise 10 years in the making, according to his tweet.

In another tweet, Stanford Samuels Jr. said, "Lil did lil you realize, getting that degree was dad's dream... The rest of this is just the Encore."

Even if there was a typo ...

The rookie isn't the first in Indy to buy his family a car. Pacers center Myles Turner bought a Chevrolet Traverse for his grandmother and aunt in 2016.

Good players, better children.
